Ramps, Columns and Beams at Shoham Logistic Centre

The logistic centre, located in Shoham Industrial Estate, extends over a total area of around 23,500 sq.m. and includes a 5-storey structure with storage areas, offices and a logistic centre. 

Ashcrete has provided a variety of industrialised elements for constructing the logistic centre, including ramps to be used by vehicles and trucks passing between the different levels of the logistic areas, whose construction dictated meticulous planning of all of the support brackets. The Company also produced and cast industrialised columns some of which were mounted on top of each other and others mounted on transfer beams cast at the various levels above the ground floor.

The work process on the site was complicated since the structure was surrounded by other buildings to the north and west. This dictated subdivision of the project between two separate work areas, in each of which building and assembly operations proceeded simultaneously, followed immediately by closure of the structure.
