Building the Largest Neighbourhood In Israel In Record Time

In Bait BaPark neighbourhood in Or Yehuda 27 residential towers each rising up to 10 - 13 stories were built, offering 1,429 apartments in a variety of sizes and to differing specifications. 

The neighborhood, recognized as the largest residential project in Israel built concurrently, was completed in a record time of just 34 months, showcasing the Ashtrom Group's full range of capabilities. The exceptional synchronization between the group's contracting subsidiaries enabled maximum efficiency, superior quality control, and accelerated timelines. This rapid construction was achieved through a blend of conventional building methods and prefabricated industrialized elements -  laying foundations and constructing the skeletons for all the buildings while simultaneously assembling the industrialized front walls, which were manufactured at the Ashcrete factory. 

An unprecedented number of cranes were deployed throughout the complex during the construction process, enabling efficient execution of the work.

An above surface area of about 215, 000 sqm was built in the neighbourhood with some 80,000 sqm of parking area. For the purposes of the project, a dedicated quality control system was set up, approx. 60,000 cum were excavated, and 13,000 industrialised elements, 16 tower cranes, approx. 25,000 tonnes of steel and 175,000 cu.m. of concrete were employed.    

At every stage of construction, Ashtrom Construction prioritizes safety, precise logistical planning, horizontal management, strict quality control, and maximum flexibility - From excavation and pile drilling, to laying the foundations, through to the installation of electrical and mechanical systems, finishing works in each apartment, and dealing with the surrounding green spaces.
