Donation Policy
Ashtrom Group's Donation Policy
This page outlines Ashtrom Group's commitment to strengthening community resilience, promoting transparency in our focus areas, and ensuring the ethical, responsible, and consistent use of our resources.
Employee Volunteering
We encourage our employees to volunteer based on their preferences, skills, and abilities by offering numerous opportunities within community projects in selected areas. Employees are invited to take part in ongoing or one-time volunteer activities with colleagues, either during their free time or work hours, subject to manager approval. We believe that aligning volunteer efforts with the diverse skills of our employees maximizes our collective social impact.
Measuring Activity to Ensure Positive Impact on the Community
As part of our community support efforts, we strive to maximize social impact and increase employee involvement. To achieve this, we measure key factors such as donation areas , total and percentage of donations, number of beneficiaries etc. We also value employee feedback to ensure ongoing engagement and effective support for the community.
Dialogue with the Community and Partnerships with Non-Profit Communities and Organizations
Ashtrom Group's donation and volunteering policy is carried out in collaboration with non-profit organizations that manage community initiatives and donations. We believe that open dialogue with communities, associations, and non-profits leads to initiatives that effectively address community needs and ensure a positive impact. In return, we expect our community partners to uphold ethical conduct, comply with the law, and provide regular reports on their activities within the joint ventures.

Guidelines for Investment in the Community

Financial and voluntary support will be provided for community initiatives that align with the group’s policies, procedures, and the needs of the communities and beneficiaries. The group will assess the use of its existing resources to support community projects, ensuring relevance and alignment with the community initiatives being considered.
-
Support will be provided to non-profit organizations that align with the group’s policy, subject to the submission of required information and documents. We will ensure that there are no connections between these organizations and the group's stakeholders, office bearers, managers, or employees, and that the support does not pose an actual or potential conflict of interest. In such cases, support requests will require special mechanisms and approvals, in line with the group's procedures.
-
Donations will not be provided to private individuals or organizations that directly or indirectly support political activity, religious institutions, or sports institutions (except those established to assist at-risk populations, with no ties to local authorities influencing Ashtrom's activities), regulatory bodies, local authorities, or institutions that may offer, or appear to offer, a benefit to Ashtrom Group's business activity. In addition, no donation will be made that serves to promote marketing or advertising activities for the group.
-
All donations will require periodic reporting and impact assessment, with a preference for ongoing activities that enable long-term impact measurement.
-
Preference will be given to donations that include employee volunteer involvement.
